My Luminox Series 3000 – new Sapphire Crystal

I’ve had this one since 2006 I think, and over time the crystal got pretty beat up.

I was recently taking some shots of it, playing with the UV Streamlight and time exposures, and saw just how bad the inside of the crystal was.

There were fine cracks on the inside, and deep scratches on the outside.

One of my buddies recommended his friend in Texas for the sapphire crystal replacement.

Looks awesome and it’s got a new lease on life!
